This project creates a solution for a common issue faced in Mills Haven Veterinary Clinic, a family members workplace. Ear infections and irritations in dogs are a common medical issue with a variety of root causes, including different types of bacteria, yeast, mite infestations, and inflammation. At Mills Haven Veterinary Clinic, seven treatments are kept on hand to address these causes, but no unified resource previously existed to compare their key attributes. Veterinarians had to consult individual packaging inserts for each medication, despite only needing a few essential pieces of information to make prescribing decisions. To address this, a reference chart was created and designed as a bi-fold brochure for easy storage and quick access. The chart highlights active ingredients, targeted pathogens, anti-inflammatory properties, mite coverage, and dosage frequency, with medications grouped by treatment capabilities. A color-coded system and varied line styles were used to visually organize the information without implying a hierarchy, ensuring clarity and usability in a clinical setting.
